West Star Development and Ridgeview Equities has awarded a contract to Clarkson Construction to build the bulk of the Olathe Soccer Sports Complex.
The 96-acre site at the southwest corner of Kansas Highway 10 and Ridgeview Road will be anchored by the Olathe Soccer Complex, which is expected to attract 250,000 players and 1.35 million visitors annually. Plans also include adding 250,000 square feet of commercial space in 16 buildings, including a 110-room hotel and an 85-room hotel.
Ridgeview Group LLC plans to finish soccer field construction by the end of 2018 and wrap up construction of the commercial space by the summer of 2019.
