Improve I-70 Warrenton to Wentzville | Route 47 Bridge Reopens
September 1, 2026
The Clarkson-Radmacher Joint Venture recently welcomed members of The Builders, a chapter of the Associated General Contractors, to Clarkson's Crossroads office for a Lunch & Learn focused on the Improve I-70 Kansas City project.
MoDOT Project Director James Pflum led the presentation, providing attendees with an inside look at one of the Kansas City's region's most significant infrastructure projects. The discussion covered the history and goals of the project, progress underway throughout the corridor, upcoming construction activities, and improvements that will help reshape this heavily traveled section of I-70.
The team also shared information about the planned 11-month closure of a portion of I-70 in 2027, including how the project team is preparing for the closure and what motorists and surrounding communities can expect as construction progresses.

The Lunch & Learn provided an opportunity for members of the local construction industry to ask questions, learn more about the work happening behind the scenes, and hear directly from project leadership.
