Bridge Replacement Project Near Carthage

The Joplin Globe reported on the bridge replacement meeting near Carthage, MO. After asking when the dual bridges would be open to traffic, they quoted Randy Smith as saying, "June 21st."  Smith also said, "Clarkson Construction, will face higher-than-usual penalties for lateness on the project. The company has financial incentives to get it done early too, but it will pay a charge of $20,000 for every additional day of construction after June 21."  Read the story here.
