A big thanks to NICE-KC for inviting the Clarkson-Radmacher Joint Venture (CRJV) team to take part in this week’s Summer Educator Externship!
On Monday, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of middle and high school teachers and counselors to the Improve I-70 Kansas City project site. From a safe, designated viewing area, our guests observed real-time construction activity and heard directly from CRJV team members, including several of our exceptional summer interns, about what it’s like to work in heavy civil construction.
Following the site visit, the conversation continued at the Clarkson office, where we shared how our team supports classroom outreach, field trips, and hands-on learning opportunities for students. We also provided an overview of the many career paths available in the construction industry, from skilled trades and engineering to safety, surveying, and project management.
