We’re paving the way for a greener future—literally! Our latest project at Arrowhead Stadium is not just about giving the Kansas City Chiefs a new home for their Mean Green Recycling Machine; it’s also a milestone for us. For the first time ever, we’re using a laser screed paving machine to ensure the concrete is perfectly poured and leveled.
This high-tech unit features a telescoping boom and placement head that makes quick work of leveling and vibrating liquid concrete. The head includes a plow to evenly spread the concrete, an auger to remove excess material, and a vibrator to compact it for a smooth finish. Plus, an onboard electronic system guides the height and angle for optimal results.
With roughly 250 cubic yards of concrete being poured from Clarkson’s own batch plant, we’re all in on making this project a success.
