Clarkson kicked off the week at the groundbreaking of an exciting new project in the Northland, the Chaves Development at Kansas City International Airport. The nearly 90-acre development is located adjacent to I-29 and I-435 and will feature more than 300,000 square feet of Class A office space, a 4,000-space airport parking facility, and lots designed for hotel, restaurant, and convenience store use.
Monday's ceremony featured representatives from the Chaves Investment Group, City of Kansas City, Missouri, Western Governors University, in addition to former Mayor Sly James, area community groups, and economic councils.
