Women in Construction Week 2024: Kathy D. Mays

In celebration of Women in Construction Week, we're honoring the amazing women who build with us at Clarkson Construction! We're incredibly grateful for their talent, dedication, and hard work.

Meet Kathy D. Mays! Kathy is a journeyman carpenter with more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry. She's currently lending her talents to the landmark Buck O'Neil Bridge replacement project. In addition to her work in the field, Kathy has served as a delegate and trustee for the Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council and is a member of the Mid-America Sisterhood of Carpenters steering committee.

"I've raised my children and put my daughter through nursing school," Kathy said of her time in the construction industry. "I can definitely say that it's been good to my family!"
