With temperatures soaring into the triple digits this week, our safety team is out and about at our jobsites, sharing crucial reminders about heat-related illnesses and symptoms to watch for in yourself and your teammates.
We're loading up coolers with ice, water, sports drinks, and electrolyte popsicles to keep everyone refreshed and hydrated! Many crews are kicking off their workday at 6:00 a.m. to beat the heat and finish before the hottest part of the day. Crews are encouraged to download the OSHA Heat Safety app for hourly heat index updates, heat-related illness symptoms to watch for, and first aid information.Stay safe, stay hydrated, and keep up the great work!
