Summer intern season is buzzing at Clarkson Construction and we are thrilled to welcome a team of awesome local students who are joining us at the Shop for the next several weeks:
We're beyond excited to have Garet Smith back with us for his fourth summer! A Civil Engineering student at Benedictine College, Garet brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to our team. This summer, he's been hard at work preparing lumber for new project sites, meticulously organizing the yard, and lending his support in the shop.
Lucas Timmons is joining us for his first summer before heading off to Iowa State University this fall to major in Mechanical Engineering. He's helping out in the shop, organizing lumber for projects, and maintaining the yard. Lucas is excited to follow in his family's footsteps as a Cyclone, but for now, we're thrilled to have him on our team!
Jack Reavy, a junior at St. Pius X High School, is spending his first summer with us. He's diving right in with hands-on projects, including upgrading our Gardner office location by replacing all the ceiling tiles and organizing materials in the yard for deployment to projects all around Kansas City. Jack is eager to learn and gain as much experience as he can!
We're excited to welcome back Jared Carter for his third consecutive summer with us! Jared has become a key part of our team over the summers, expertly managing housekeeping items around the shop, office, and yard. Following his dad's footsteps, who has had a long career in the trades, Jared is looking forward to becoming a union Operator after graduating from Lathrop High School.
We are delighted to welcome Hunter Cooper to our team for his first summer! As a junior in the Adrian School District, Hunger has hit the ground running, taking on a variety of tasks -- from tackling housekeeping projects and detailing vehicles to landscaping and sprucing up the yard, he's making a big impact.
