KCI New Terminal Named Top National Construction Project

We're proud to announce that the De Soto Local Road Improvements Progressive Design-Build Project has been honored as the 2024 Project of the Year by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Kansas City Section!
This recognition is a major milestone for our team and an exciting one for everyone involved in this game-changing project. Led by the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) and designed by HDR, this project marked the first-ever Progressive Design-Build project for KDOT, a collaborative approach that set the tone for innovation and efficiency throughout the process.
The project delivered vital infrastructure to support the new Panasonic Energy Co. electric vehicle battery manufacturing plant, which will drive regional economic growth for years to come.
We extend our sincere thanks to ASCE KC for this incredible honor, and to every individual who played a role in the project's success. We're proud to continue shaping the infrastructure that powers out communities.
