Last week, Clarkson Superintendent, Luke Miller, was recognized as an Influential Leader in Construction during the 2026 NAWIC Kansas City Annual Construction Industry Celebration held at Kauffman Stadium.
The annual Construction Industry Awards celebrate individuals who are helping build strong communities, careers, and futures through leadership, craftsmanship, innovation, and service across the construction industry.
Throughout his 13-year career with Clarkson, Luke has consistently championed safer, more efficient ways to perform work in the field. His proactive approach to identifying hazards and developing innovative solutions has helped strengthen jobsite operations while reinforcing Clarkson's safety-first culture.
In addition to his project leadership, Luke regularly supports student jobsite tours and career outreach opportunities through the Improve I-70 Kansas City project's STEM and workforce development initiatives, helping introduce young people to meaningful careers in the construction industry.
Luke is also deeply involved in Clarkson's community service efforts. He has volunteered his time and expertise on multiple projects supporting the Veterans Community Project and has participated in outreach efforts benefiting local youth and families throughout the Kansas City region.
Clarkson Construction congratulates Luke on this well-deserved recognition and also extends congratulations to the recipients of this year's Influential Tradeswoman in Construction, Emerging Leader in Construction, and Influential Leaders in Construction awards.
