Reflecting on an Incredible 2024 at Clarkson
December 31, 2024
Earlier today, the Clarkson-Radmacher Joint Venture team had the honor of joining the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), Jackson County, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol to recognized National Work Zone Awareness Week on the Improve I-70 Kansas City project site.
National Work Zone Awareness Week is a spring campaign that kicks off the construction season and serves as a critical reminder for motorists to drive safely through active work zones. It's about protecting the skilled men and women working hard to build and maintain the infrastructure our communities depend on every day.
Clarkson Construction Company President Billy Clarkson spoke during the event, highlighting the importance of protecting construction crews and reinforcing the message behind the campain.
At Any given time, the Clarkson and Radmacher teams have hundreds of employees working across the region, whether it's on I-70 or supporting dozens of local infrastrucutre projects that connect and strengthen our communities. Slow down in work zones, stay alert, and give our crews the space they need to work safely. A few extra sections of caution can mean a lifetime of difference."
As work continues across the Kansas City region and throughout Missouri, we urge all drivers to stay alert, avoid distractions, and obey posted speed limits in work zones. Together, we can help make this a safe construction season for everyone!
