This week, members of our safety team visited jobsites across the Kansas City region to discuss a critically important topic: mental health and suicide prevention. Every year during National Suicide Prevention Month in September, one week is designated as Construction Suicide Prevention Week to bring awareness to the higher-than-average number of suicides within the construction industry.
Our teams received valuable information on available resources, how to support friends and colleagues, and where to seek help.
