Governor Kelly Breaks Ground on $2B Redevelopment in Overland Park 

Yesterday the Clarkson team had the exciting opportunity to join Kansas Governor Laura Kelly, the City of Overland Park, the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce, and Curtin Property Company for the groundbreaking of the Brookridge development at 103^rd Street and Antioch. Under the new name of Meridian, the $2 billion project is one of the largest and most ambitious mixed-use developments in the state of Kansas. The development will feature 4.8 million square feet of office space, 2,000 urban living spaces, and two hotels, in addition to restaurant, retail, and entertainment venues.

 

"I'm happy to be with the Meridian team this week to celebrate the beginning of this type of development and the economic impact it will bring to Overland Park and the surrounding neighborhoods," said Mayor Curt Skoog. "Current residents are attracted to Overland Park because of the sense of community our neighborhoods provide. Future residents will be attracted for the same reason."

 

Clarkson is proud to deliver the project's mass grading and sewer installation. Completion of the infrastructure and utility work is expected in fall 2024.
