Summer Intern Spotlight: Carter Hall

In honor of National Intern Day (June 27), we want to highlight the talented and hardworking interns that joined our team this year. Meet Cade Goodall from Lee's Summit, Missouri, who spent his second summer with Clarkson working on the Manhattan Regional Airport Runway Replacement Project in Manhattan, Kansas.
During the last school year, Cade received certification to test aggregate and concrete. He's been able to put that to good use over the summer in the airport project site's quality control lab where he's testing for concrete strength, moisture levels, and quality, and to ensure that all materials meets the project's specifications.
"I've learned a lot about multi-tasking over the last few months," Cade said. "There are so many things happening in the lab at the same time and it's important to be sure that you don't miss a step. I've been able to gain a lot of confidence by working hands-on and learning on the job."
Cade begins his senior year at Kansas State University in just a few days and is excited to take the real world experience he's gained during his internships to his professional elective classes this fall. He'll graduate with degree in Construction Science & Management in May 2024.
