Summer Intern Spotlight: Tristen Shores

In honor of National Intern Day (July 25), we're thrilled to spotlight our amazing interns! Meet Tristen Shores, a senior at Missouri S&T, returning to Clarkson for this third year in a row.

This summer, Tristen is working on the De Soto Local Road Improvements Project in De Soto, Kansas. He's gaining hands-on experience with shop drawings, day-to-day field operations, project schedules, and project meetings.

"The knowledge I've been able to bring back to school each year, things that directly relate to my degree, has been incredibly rewarding," Tristen shared. "Getting real-world experience with project scheduling, public speaking, and contract language will give me a definite advantage in my contracting classes this fall."
