Summer Intern Spotlight: Isaac Hall

In honor of National Intern Day (July 25), we're thrilled to spotlight our amazing office interns! Meet Isaac Hall, a junior at the University of Utah, who joined us this summer to support the Clarkson IT team.

"My mentors have been great!" Isaac said. "They don't treat me like I'm 'just' an intern, but like I'm a colleague. It's been cool to see how tied in the IT team is to the whole company. Whenever we go to the East Bottoms office or another floor here in the Crossroads, we talk to so many people because they have relationships with everyone."

In addition to lending his skills to sorting out general IT issues, Isaac has been hard at work setting up workspaces for new employees, learning about program licenses, transferring files to cloud servers, and even developing custom software for a future project. He's also had the chance to spend time on Clarkson jobsites, witnessing firsthand how new technology enhances construction efforts.

"Drones are being used in the field to gather information on the movement of dirt. Drones cover the jobsite to measure the amount of space between the earth and the drone, which gives our team information on the progress of site excavation and earthwork, making estimating and project schedules more accurate."

Isaac is looking forward to putting his summer experience to work in web development classes this fall and hopes to become a full-time software engineer following his graduation in 2026.
