Clarkson 2023 Holiday Luncheon

On Friday, we gathered to celebrate two incredible members of the Clarkson team as they prepare to hang up their hardhats and step into retirement! Boasting more than 40 combined years of hard work and dedication, Randy Hammett (Bridge Superintendent) and John Matthes (Field Mechanic) have left an incredible legacy at Clarkson.
Randy has been called the "Andy Reid of Clarkson" -- similar to the NFL-wide successes of Coach Reid's Coaching Tree, Randy has mentored and trained dozens of foremen and supervisors that have come up under him in the company. He's known for his dedication, hard work, and commitment to providing his crews with the best possible training.
Not only does John always reply with a "super fantastic" when asked how his day his going, his creation of The Matthes Report ensures the Clarkson fleet stays in super fantastic shape. The report, created and written to John's high standard, is the inspection report used shop-wide to track and evaluate Clarkson's equipment. His dedication to detail and tireless effort ensured every vehicle ran smoothly, a legacy that will be felt long after his retirement.
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Randy and John for the many remarkable years of hard work and dedication to the Clarkson team.
