I-35 & Homestead

Diverging Diamond, Highways & Bridges

For the I-35 & Homestead project, Clarkson Construction built a new interchange at I-35 and Homestead Lane and expanded Homestead from I-35 to 199th Street in Gardner, Kansas. The project included excavating over 900,000 cubic yards of earth and 160,000 cubic yards of rock. Clarkson Construction also installed 11,000 feet of storm pipe – including 1,000 feet of 54” or larger – laid 190,000 square yards of concrete pavement and constructed four structural steel bridges.
