BNSF Intermodal Logistics Park Expansion

Clarkson Construction Company played a key role in helping BNSF Railway to expand the capacity of the new Logistics Park Kansas City Intermodal Terminal due to increased demand.

The project consisted of adding two new rail tracks under the Wide Span Crane and one additional running track for additional train capacity within the facility.

To construct the project, over 34,000 tons of sub-ballast was placed, 17,000 feet of drainage pipe was laid, 20,000 square yards of asphalt and concrete pavement was placed and over 25,000 feet of new track was installed.
