Employee Spotlight: John Slater, Grading Superintendent

We are proud to have so many exceptional employees who embody Clarkson's mission, vision, and values, especially those who strive to positively impact the regions that we serve.

We recently received a call about one of those exceptional employees: John Slater, Grading Superintendent. The caller's vehicle became stuck in mud following the recent torrential rains near one of our project sites in Kansas City, Kansas. Multiple cars passed without stopping -- until John spotted the stranded driver. After checking on the driver, John called a tow truck, brought them bottled water, and waited with them for hours until the vehicle could be safely moved.

"I'm telling you, he was indispensable and just a lovely person," the driver said. "Thank you for having such nice and accommodating employees."
