Most challenging part of the job: With being relatively new to the Clarkson team, one of the biggest challenges was transitioning from one organization to another. However, it was made possible because of the relationships formed at Clarkson with people like Bill Jr., Steve Kellerman, and Bryan Wilkerson.

Best part of the job: Just being part of a group of people working towards a common goal that’s bigger than yourself. You play one role in a huge picture, and it takes putting everyone’s parts together to get the outcome you want to achieve. The relationships you develop throughout the process are also incredible.

Favorite project: The Johnson County Gateway would be my favorite because it allowed me to work with a huge team and helped develop a different perspective on not only the work I did, but on other disciplines. The relationship side, which was vital in the development, is what led me down the path to where I am today. It pushed and stretched me, as well as gave me a different view of what can be accomplished by a very focused team.
