Reflecting on an Incredible 2024 at Clarkson

Giving back is at the heart of our mission, vision, and values. Recently, nearly 30 Clarkson volunteers had the honor of supporting local Veterans during the Commissary Day Takeover at the Veterans Community Project (VCP).
Held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at the VCP Outreach Center, Commissary Day provides no-cost shopping with dignity to any Veteran and their family with a military ID. Assisted by volunteer Personal Shoppers, Veterans can select much-needed non-perishable food items, fresh veggies, hygiene products, household cleaning supplies, and pet food.
Our team spent the day helping Veterans shop, loading their vehicles, and serving up a hot lunch. A special thanks to Katie's Catering for providing a fantastic meal of burgers, hot dogs, sides, and desserts -- it was the perfect way to enjoy an unseasonably warm February day!
In total, we had the privilege of serving nearly 150 Veterans at this event. Seeing the firsthand impact and having the opportunity to give back to those who have given so much was truly meaningful for our team.
At Clarkson, we believe in positively impacting the communities we serve, and we're grateful for opportunities like this to support our neighbors in need.
