Celebrating a New Landmark: Buck O’Neil Bridge Mural

Earlier today, members of our team joined representatives from the Missouri Department of Transportation, Art in the Loop, and local artist Phil "Sike Style" Shafer to celebrate the official completion of the new Buck O'Neil Bridge mural at the intersection of Broadway Avenue and 3rd Street in downtown Kansas City.

The vibrant mural honors the life and legacy of Buck O'Neil, a trailblazer, athlete, and beloved community figure. The artwork features scenes from Buck's time with the Kansas City Monarchs, a depiction of his legendary seat at Kauffman Stadium, and highlights of his contributions to the community, Negro Leagues, and baseball history. 

We are proud to have been a part of the Massman-Clarkson joint venture team that build the award-winning new Buck O'Neil Bridge. Projects like this reflect our deep commitment to not only building what moves Kansas City forward, but also to honoring the people and stories that make this city unique.
