Clarkson Wins First Place for Safety Excellence

We are thrilled to announce that the Buck O'Neil Bridge Replacement Project has been honored with a Kansas City Business Journal Capstone Award for Infrastructure! This prestigious recognition highlights the impact and significance of this transformative project, which enhances safety, connectivity, and mobility in Kansas City's northwest corridor.
Designed by HNTB, sponsored by the Missouri Department of Transportation and the City of Kansas City, Missouri, and built by the Massman-Clarkson Joint Venture, the project delivered:
- A direct connection between US 169 and I-35
- Improved access to the Kansas City Downtown Airport
- A new pedestrian and cyclist river crossing
- Two new 100-year lifespan Missouri River bridges
This project is a lasting tribute to Buck O'Neil's legacy and a major step forward for Kansas City's infrastructure. We are incredibly proud of our team's hard work and dedication in bringing this vision to life.
