Bill Clarkson, Jr. 
Chief Executive Officer

Bill is a lifelong Kansas Citian and a fifth-generation member of the Clarkson family business. He began his career with Clarkson working summers in both the field and office, gaining hands-on experience before joining the company full time after college. Bill currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Clarkson Construction and previously held the role of President, as well as Vice President of Superior Bowen Asphalt Company. In his leadership roles, Bill has guided Clarkson's strategic growth, served as the company's principal decision-maker, and fostered a strong organizational culture rooted in collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
 
Known for his analytical mindset and effective conflict-resolution skills, Bill leads through mentorship, open communication, and team building. He thrives in fast-paced, multi-project environments, and works closely with Clarkson's senior leadership team, including finance, operations, and engineering, to ensure operational alignment, strategic planning, and process optimization. 
 
Bill maintains a long-standing commitment to the construction industry, actively supporting local, state, and national organizations that advocate for the profession. He is equally dedicated to civic engagement, having served on the Board of Directors for the Heavy Contractors Association, The American Road & Transportation Builders Association, National Asphalt Paving Association, in addition to a lifetime membership with the Associated General Contractors of America. Additional community leadership roles with the Visitation Parish School Board, Visitation Parish, and Carriage Club.
