Clarkson is making strong progress on the new Ray County 911 Dispatch Center, a project that marks continued growth in the company’s work across different types of construction.
Over the past few weeks, crews have been actively placing structural steel and installing precast components for the facility. To date, more than 80 precast panels have been set for the main building and generator enclosure, along with an additional six panels for the trash enclosure. These early milestones are helping the structure quickly take shape and move toward the next phases of construction.
The project also represents an important step forward for Clarkson’s ongoing commitment to quality and safety. Work on the Ray County Dispatch Center is contributing to the company’s pursuit of Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) certification in the S2 category (Complex Structural Systems). This certification reflects the highest level of performance for precast erection under the PCI Quality Assurance System. As part of the process, Clarkson’s work on this project will undergo field audits, helping validate the team’s capabilities and adherence to rigorous industry standards.
In addition to supporting certification efforts, the project plays a critical role in the Ray County community. Once complete, the new 911 Dispatch Center will provide a modern, reliable facility for emergency communications, helping ensure faster response times and improved service for residents.
Construction is progressing steadily, with the facility scheduled to be operational this fall. Clarkson is proud to contribute to a project that combines technical excellence with meaningful community impact.
