Reflecting on an Incredible 2024 at Clarkson

For the past several weeks, Kansas City has been on the world's stage! Thousands of visitors from around the globe filled our streets, businesses, neighborhoods, and stadiums as Kansas City proudly hosted six FIFA World Cup 2026™ matches. From Fan Festival celebrations and Oranje Army marches to unforgettable moments inside Kansas City Stadium, the energy throughout the city was unlike anything we've seen before.
As a company that has proudly called Kansas City home since 1880, it was exciting to watch our hometown shine.
Our employees joined the celebrations throughout the month — attending matches, cheering alongside fans form around the world, visiting Fan Fest, and sharing in the excitement that made this a once-in-a-generation event for our region. The tournament not only showcased world-class soccer, but the hospitality, culture, and community spirit that make Kansas City such a special place to live and work.
Major international events like the World Cup leave a last impact beyond the final whistle! They create opportunities to introduce millions of people to our city, strengthen our local economy, and inspire future investment in the infrastructure that keeps our communities connected.
