In honor of National Intern Day (June 27), we want to highlight the talented and hardworking interns that joined our team this year. Meet Carter Hall, U.S. Marine Corps veteran and Construction Science & Management major at Kansas State University.
"For years, my family has been involved in various aspects of the construction industry," Carter said. "I've loved being able to spend so much time out in the field this summer, to see things being built from the ground up."
A good portion of his summer has been spent supporting the De Soto Local Road Improvements Project where he's had the exciting opportunity work alongside his dad, Chad Hall, Associate Vice President with project designer HDR.
Carter says that he is confident that the construction industry is the place for him and hopes to become a project manager following his graduation in 2026.
