We're excited to share that the Kansas City International Airport New Terminal Project has been named the 2024 Project of the Year and received the Excellence in Design Award for Commercial Projects from the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) Mid-America Region!
In addition to our work on the Build KCI team as a member of the Clark | Weitz | Clarkson joint venture, Clarkson proudly delivered the new terminal's landside civil improvements, split-level arrival and departures elevated roadway system, and airside apron and taxi lanes.
The 1.1-million-square-foot, LEED Gold-certified terminal is more than just a model of sustainability and accessibility -- it's a celebration of Kansas City's unique spirit. Featuring local artists and beloved hometown brands, the terminal offers a warm midwestern welcome to travelers as the true front door to our city.
